About Us

LaVESTA is a non-profit trail association (501.3c registered) in Baja California Sur, Mexico dedicated to the trails in La Ventana and El Sargento.

LaVESTA was created in early 2023 for the purpose of coordinating efforts to maintain existing trails, create new ones, and most importantly to preserve access for years to come. LaVESTA’s mission is to protect these trails for everyone in the community and encourage all to be involved.

LaVESTA is run by volunteers. Trail work is done by volunteers and supported by a small local crew of trail workers sponsored 100% by donations.
